Mikey and I visited Sydney Zoo recently to celebrate the day we met. We decided to do the Lion Encounter which gave us the opportunity to feed one of the three Lion brothers. There is a fourth brother which recently moved to Melbourne and now has his own cubs.

We learnt that lions are currently vulnerable, and their biggest threat has been habitat loss as a result of population growth.

Our day had to end early due to heavy runs but we both really enjoyed learning about the lions and feeding one. We bought season pass so we will definitely revisit throughout the year.
